About Me
I have been collecting railroad locks for about 45 years now. I acquired my first lock was when I was about 10 years-old. I saw it when my late grandmother took me to Downtown Cleveland, Ohio. We rode the trolley and I saw the lock on a salt (for melting snow) box and I fell in love with it. My dad later contacted the Cleveland Transit System (CTS) and spoke to someone there who was kind enough to bring me a broken one and my collection began!
I have since retired and my wife and I travel the country visiting antique malls and shops in search of locks. I also attend numerous lock shows and railroad conventions across the United States in search of locks.
